The HMS Victory is one of the most famous warships from the days of sailing and war. Launched on May 7, 1765 in the Chatham Dockyard, this amazing ship began her career and the world’s oldest commissioned warship and her 200 years of almost continuous and dedicated service.

The HMS Victory had a long an distinguished career of many hard fought and long navy battles, giving her crew an exceptional amount of experience and confidence in their battle technique and skills. On October 21, 1805 this experience and skill would pay off and bring her the fame and prestige she deserved.

The battle of Trafalgar Spain was the infamous battle that the HMS Victory is world renowned for. In this battle, the HMS Victory heroically defeated the Franco-Spanish fleet with her powerful canons firing half a ton of iron. While sailing under the British flagship in the battle, the HMS Victory leaned about victory while her crew experienced what it felt like to become the famous heroes they had dreamed of.

The HMS Victory now rests in Portsmouth’s Royal Naval Dockyard where she is opened to the public where all explore her wooden world paying tribute to her splendor and the men who heroically manned this ship years ago.

All of our model ships and boats are handmade from scratch.

They are built by very skillful and experienced craftsmen. They are also built according to the scale of the original full sized ships. We do this through the use of original plans or pictures and use a plank on frame construction method. The hull of our ships are joined by multiple pieces of dry thin wood.

Inside of the hull, we use a special glue that is imported just for this purpose. The glue makes the wood strips stay close together so that they will not split, crack or twist which can happen due to weather changes or humidity changes.

Our models are built completely for raw materials, NOT kits. We recommend that you purchase a display stand for each ship that you purchase to protect it from harm.
